Sports

Khaldunia became part of a new international project  in June 2011 – International Inspiration school partnership sponsored by British Council, Youth Sport Trust (UK), UNICEF and UK sport. 20 countries and 600 schools all over the world are part of this ambitious project that aims to:

Share good practice and take an innovative approach in the use of Physical Education, sport and play.

Benefit children, young people and wider community

Work together to enhance the educational experience of young people using PE and sport as the vehicle.

Leadership training

Khaldunia has been working together with two partner schools; Islamabad college for boys in G-6/2 and University Academy Birkenhead in UK. This several tiered plan was executed over a period of two years. In late 2015, a team participated in the Pacific Games in Adelaide, Australia.

We also hold an annual sports day when both traditional and innovative sports and fun activities are introduced for pupils and parents. Three Houses: Oaks, Pines and Willows contest each other in different arenas; from a variety of races to long jump and discus throwing to achieve the highest points and lay in a claim for the House trophy.

Khaldunia has a huge sports ground which allows ample space for various types of sports and activities. Seasonally, the ground is redeveloped in order to make space for various sports seasons.
